If you're wanting to attract quail to your property, do you have what it takes for covey headquarters??  This requires:

Clump of shrubs


  canopy >3' high with bare ground understory
stems 2-3' apart
blackberry, plum, and shrub dogwoods
minimum of 1250 square feet
next to bare ground AND diverse grass mix
substitutes include downed trees and food plots

 

Covey headquarters during winter months
